設立目的:
美術作品及び美術作品に関する資料の収集、保管並びに展示公開等を行い、とりわけ山形県に由来した魅力ある美術作品を展示することにより、芸術作品が身近にあることを示し、創造性豊かで潤いに満ちた山形県民の美術文化の振興発展に寄与することを目的に設立致しました。
Purpose of Establishment:
We aim to collect, reserve, and exhibit artworks and related items,
with a particular focus on outstanding works originating from Yamagata-Ken,
as well as other Japanese traditional paintings and hand works,
thereby promoting the development of rich and creative
art culture for the community.
事業内容:
1）美術作品の一般公開並びに美術教育のための
特別展覧
2）美術に関する教育及び普及事業
3）美術作品及び美術作品に関する資料の収集、保管
4）美術作品及び美術作品に関する資料の調査、研究
5）その他、この法人の目的を達成するために

過去の展覧会:
2010年6月～7月に
野村義照先生の作品”山形十景”の展覧会を開催致しました。山形の美しい心に響く風景10景色が描かれています。
日本の心の原風景を思わせる山形県にゆかりの無い方でもどこか懐かしさや温かさを感じる作品ばかりです。
